Family portraiture is a great way to keep a record of the most important thing in your life – your loved ones. It is also a wonderful gift idea for grandparents!

A lot is taken into consideration in designing how your family portrait will look, where the portrait will be displayed in your home and the colour schemes surrounding it.  Clothing is often best kept simple and neutral so that one person doesn’t stand out from the rest of the family and so outfit colours or patterns don’t clash.

It is always a good idea to discuss with your family where you all think you might like your family portrait to be taken. There might be somewhere of significance to your family, your property or a favourite meeting place eg. park.

Pregnant bellies, soon disappear, newborns suddenly become smiley babies, babies are soon running around as cheeky little toddlers and before we know it they are off to school.
